OJO DE AGUA: At about 30 min. by boat from the island, reaching the mainland and entering the jungle, the sea opens up to an open space of trees and land. A big palm leaf hut (palapa), equipped with a table and a BBQ grill is the perfect place to enjoy fish and to spend some relaxing hours of siesta. |

Only a few meters from the palapa, a fresh water arm extends its water to the sea. Following this little river you arrive at the fountain, the "water eye". The sweet water finds its way out from between the rocks and forms a small bathing area, a fresh pool, regenerating and a few meters deep. It is said that when you immerge in the water, you become 10 years younger. Who is seeking more adventures and is anxious to discover, can make a short trip around the fountain and you may find some small ruins. |
